In Indonesia, known as semar bag, with the title varied in different regions, stoneware monkey (Riau), bags of monkey (Jambi), ketakung (Bangka), sorok king paramedics (West Java). diamond Napu (Dayak Katingan), telep tip (Dayak Bakumpai), and violoncello begongong (Dayak Tunjung).

Nepenthes included in the family and the class Magnoliopsida Nepenthaceae generally grown in lowland tropical rain forest, montane forests, peat forests, heath forests, limestone mountain, desert savanna and edges of the lake. There are about 82 types of nepenthes in the world and 64 species in Indonesian Borneo (Kalimantan, Sarawak, Sabah and Brunei) was the center of nepenthes in the world. Nepenthes propagation through stem cuttings, seeds and separating the tillers. Nepenthes generally terrestrial living in the lowlands to grow in places where water exists or near sources of water on the acidic substrate. Nepenthes also require intense sunlight during the day with a length of between 10-12 hours every day throughout the year, with temperatures between 23-31A ° C and humidity between 50-70%.
